WhoIsIt Lite is Available in the Market!

I have released a free version of WhoIsIt to the Market. WhoIsIt lite provides a subset of features found in the paid version of WhoIsIt.

What does WhoIsIt Lite offer?

• Custom ringtones, announcements, and vibrations for phone calls, Gmail, SMS, MMS, GTalk, GVoice, and K-9

• Fixed issue with vibrations not stopping when using volume rocker to silence phone calls.

WhoIsIt 2.0 has just been released! There are quite a few new features:

* Added Google Talk support.

*Options to selectively allow WhoIsIt to manage notifications.

*Option to toggle handling of unknown callers.

WhoIsIt 1.5 Released!

WhoIsIt v1.5 has been published to the Market:

- Added custom ringtone vibration patterns for contacts.
- Added unknown caller vibration pattern option.
- Added checkboxes to selectively control volume settings within profiles.
- Better code for silencing ringtones by touching screen.
- Removed support for silencing notifications by pressing the "Home" and "Back" buttons (sorry, it was buggy and caused issues).
- Camera button can be used to silence notifications (fixed a bug).
- Many other bug fixes!

WhoIsIt 1.3.7 Released!

WhoIsIt version 1.3.7 has just been published to the market. This update includes the following:

• Fixed display issue where ringtones would default to "Silent" when setting contact preferences.


• Added ability to silence ringtone notifications by touching your screen or pressing the "Home" or "Back" buttons (screen must be turned on first).


• Misc. bug fixes.
