WhoIsIt 1.3.7 Released!

WhoIsIt version 1.3.7 has just been published to the market. This update includes the following:

• Fixed display issue where ringtones would default to "Silent" when setting contact preferences.


• Added ability to silence ringtone notifications by touching your screen or pressing the "Home" or "Back" buttons (screen must be turned on first).


• Misc. bug fixes.

WhoIsIt 1.3.5 Released!

I'm hoping the "Silent" ringtone issue has finally been put to rest for everybody. :)

Here are the changes:

• The "Silent" ringtone issue should be resolved now. Please let me know if you still have issues.


• Fixed VIP contact issue when SMS message is received from SMS gateway.


• Removed "Contact ringtone fix" checkbox (no longer needed).

WhoIsIt 1.3.3 Released!

I have just published WhoIsIt 1.3.3 to the Market. This version hopefully addresses the "Silent" issue that some users with the Samsung Fascinate (and maybe other models) were experiencing when trying to assign a custom ringtone to a contact. If you are experiencing this issue, try going into the WhoIsIt preferences and checking the "Contact Ringtone Fix" checkbox. After checking this, try assigning a ringtone to a contact and see if this resolves the issue.

Additional changes in the release include:

• Phone call announcements now stop as soon as a call is answered.


• Added option to display "Invisible" contacts. This may help some users that were not seeing all contacts within WhoIsIt.

WhoIsIt 1.2.2 Released

Sorry for the lack of updates and the lack of responses lately. I promise to catch up soon.

I have just released WhoIsIt v1.2.2 to the Market. This version offers to ability to manually or automatically update your Facebook status when you change profiles.
